It's because the nukes fell in the 50's. So, therefore, there were no bands from the 60's-2000's.

Personalli, I really, REALLY like the music in this game: it's weird to be pinned down by 5 super mutants with assault rifles with "Anything Goes" playing in the background, but incredibly fun! =)

Davehogan565, its 50s music and since everything got blown to peices the only thing that really advanced is military techonolgy. Since everyone is just trying to stay alive let alone think about new modern music..
