trace it back further-- the worship of Hubal is the Arabicized version of the worship of the fertility goddess Artemis, the center of worship being at Ephesus (now Turkey).. the rites of the Artemis worship are also similar to Islam, and their battlecry is "GREAT IS ARTEMIS OF THE EPHESIANS!" If God exists, and he were ever to write (or inspire) a book to help guide humanity, that book would be very, very short. It would say: "Love one another" - absolutely nothing else.
