@queputasquiere The spent case is quite a bit less dangerous than the 90 degree blast of gas that comes out of the M136 AT4, and many other recoilless rocket launchers. It's not going to kill someone from the backblast, though it's still likely to hurt if you're directly behind the shooter.

It would be wise to give its user specially weighted boots so mishaps like that last shot would be less likely.

@19Maximus88 well it wont be as accurate as a ground stabilised unit, but the name of this beast is mobility. dont have to set this up and have a crew man it. Tho they do have the ability to set it up like a traditional mortar when needed.

I don't see the point when we have current model gernade and rocket launchers. Its just an extra hunk of metal that we have to lug around. Unless its low heat signature.

@GunsOfThePhoenix Rockets and grenade launchers aren't mortars. this is a mortar. mortars typically have to be set up and it takes a team to use them properly. this is man portable and can be used by one man.
