I talked about my Chai Tea Latte in a VR I did to nika2darling's W4W contest, which led to people asking me about it. After several requests to know how I make my Chai Tea Latte, I decided to make a video about my preferred method. This is the healthier way to make it versus going to Starbucks or getting a premade mix that is full of sugar and partially hydrogenated oils. Hope everyone enjoys; PM or comment with any questions!

Peace, Love & Witchiness :)

  • i have headache from your video!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @bjerke1551985 So don't watch any more..

  • Thanks for this video, I also love the chai latte from Starbucks and wanted to try making it at home! I've tried once already BEFORE finding this video and it came out...blah. My ratio of water/milk/tea must have been off hehe. I'd really like to find a mix similar to what Starbucks uses, all I've seen is basic chai bags.

  • there is a brand I know of called oregon tea. It's a premade liquid chai mix basically, and it comes in a box similar to the boxes that some veggie/chix/beef stocks do. It's normally in with the health/organic stuff.

  • @fotogrl1 I tried the oregon chai, it is very disappointing. It is very watery and itdoesn't taste of chai! It says that it has all of these spices but I can't taste any of it. All it tastes like is a watered version of honey. Honestly.

  • @catfreak190 well, sorry you didn't like it. You can always try something else, or make it yourself. I don't know what else to recommend.

  • @fotogrl1 I found some indian spiced tea bags, it smells so good, so strong of cardemom, ginger, cloves, cinnamon etc and I tried it by putting it in a cup of boiling water and a touch of milk and it was good, it tastes just like the starbucks one. But it tastes nicer when I make it the indian way where you boil the milk, water nad teabag in the pan with some sugar added also. I don't know wether they sell this product in the U.S. I am at work at the moment so when I get back home I have a look.

  • @fotogrl1 thanks. Just my opinion thats all. I live in the UK so it was quite hard to get oregon chai as oregon doesn't ship outside the U.S I managed to find a company in England (where I am) and they gave me a free sample of it. I'm glad I didn't have to pay for it otherwise I would be annoyed.

  • Oh hey thanks for replying :) I may try that if I can find it. I didn't like that idea at first, but I know now that Starbucks uses a liquid concentrate sooo maybe it wouldn't be bad. :)

I'm just going to feel like such an imposter for not using fresh tea leaves and all, haha.

  • great vid! thanks for posting. i love chai latte's but yeah...they can be pricey and who knows what is really in them. i am going to start making them at home!
