How do you say 'Cheers' in French? This is just one of my several questions as I drink my way (!) through the Loire, enjoying some of France's finest vintages...
Another urgent question - how to possibly describe the taste of these very special wines?? I'll have to depend on my friends at the chateau, during our little degustation (wine tasting). And of course, my imagination comes in handy too, with these original ways to describe wine:

White flowers
Pear
Force
Power
'Long in the mouth' (?)
Citrusy
Delicious
a little Flinty
...and very Refreshing!

'Tchin'!

  • Awsome video! I just got back from the Loire, and i have to say its amazing how much you can learn from wine in just a few days. Just about everyone who is selling wine is excited to tell you all about how they produced their wine.

  • Thanks for the observations! It truly is a magical spot - stay tuned for our next video, also from the Loire - all about the magnificent Chateaux!

  • Not very far from Vouvray is the very exclusive Jasnières. Curnonsky, the father of french modern gastronomy said about this wine that - 3 times in a century it is the best white wine in the world - and for an unforgettable sojourn, stay at Chateau de la Barre.

  • She is soooo perky. LOL

  • We went with a great little company called Loireuncorked who we found recommended in The Independent.

They took us round fantastic vineyards which we would never have found by ourselves. We never realised there were such great wines in the area.

  • I saw many videos of Francelator, it's unusual to see American people who want to knew more about France and French culture, many american knew only these stereotypes who are not true, and because we losed the WW2, they believe than we are a weak nation, they don't knew that in 2010 France is the 5th largest economy in the world after the US, Japan, China and Germany and our Human Development Index HDI is far more high than the US, and France life expectancy is one of the hightest in the world.

  • Anyone know name of intro song?

  • L'abus d'alcool est dangereux pour la santé :O).

L'abus de plaisir lui vous rallonge des années de vie.......

French paradox : a glass of red wine is good for your heart.

The entire bootle is dangerous for your mind....
