@nergybln Fair enough. :) But what Silje said was that it sounds old to her, probably meaning old fashioned, and that it does. It wasn't as extreme on Troll as on Åsmund Frægdegjevar, but Lumsk have a tendency of making their wording as old fashioned as possible.

@MaiaMadness I do know - I really would be ignorant if I would not 'cause I'm studying this. ;) And like you said, it is "built up", it's constructed and yeah, closer to old norse, but it IS not "old norwegian" 'cause that's a clearly defined language and not the same. Btw I don't know what's so "elite"? That I care about things like this 'cause they are important to me and you can't comprehend it? Please forgive me...

@nergybln Wow, you're the one showing ignorance, here... Don't you know that nynorsk or neo norwegian is built up of a combination of dialects and much closer, gramatically and pronunciation wise, to old norse than the modern, refined dano-Norwegian? You'll find that a lot of the language in these songs is very archaic and old-fashioned indeed.
