Qaddafi retired in 1977 he writes, he receives dignitaries ..etc but the running of the country is left to the elected general popular committee .. they are the equivalent of various government departments

What has been going on is Aljazeera lies and the rest follow :)
they are trying to win the war through propaganda.
one minute they said brega fell to the rebels and Gaddafi soldiers ran away and later they say they are still there and it's the rebels who ran away ... Personally I trust the Libyan TV far more than any western media... I say that because all their reprots in the past few months were later verified to be true.
