Minecraft tutorial - How to Tame a wolf !!! (and find one lol) by Haabemaster update 1.4

vid showing finding and taming a wolf and how to use it to attack mobs.
look in the woods / forest / taiga areas or biomes, just keep looking you will eventually find one :) listen out for a woofing noise! then give it a bone!

wolves are now on Peaceful + hard modes plus single and multiplayer too!

they are peaceful to you as a player until you aggress them! And they can kill things for you if you tame them (see my vid), they can swim too and have great "drying off" animation!

Use the seed "reddeadredemption" and you spawn in a tree with untamed wolves under you!

Just change dif. to easy just to kill 1 or 2 mobs, then change it back to peacefull.

@gameguy257 too many items but if your not a mod person make a sword or bow and kill skellys
