@mini4life92 fair enough if it is a genuinely used term, mate, but whoever popularised or standardised the use of a term that can get confused with another one in the same military field... is a bit of an idiot.

@mini4life92 in aviation a roll is moving around the longitudinal axis, and in military aviation, you can be damned sure they don't have time for confusion when it comes to terms... so how can the two things be referred to by the same verb?

@whizbang47 In aviation, "rolls" is what you call the take off. rolls = rolling down the runway to take off :)
