@ovechkin100 who cares!! You're a fucking idiot. Nobody cares about your stats and this debate is so fucking retarded. Why compare Ovechkin and Kovalev? Maybe Ovechkin has a much better career but Kovalev has been obviously an inspiration and a mentor to him when he was a kid and learning the game and tricks watching him. Both are amazing players. Ovechkin might be spectacular but Kovalev DOES have an amazing talent and he's an artist of hockey. So fuck off.

On another note...kovalev is skilled...but he usually NEVER displays those skills when it counts...so in terms of who would be a bigger asset to a team b/w ovechkin and kovalev....i think history has shown that it's ovechkin hands down

"sid has checkers so he has it easier" how does that work? hes the only one on his line who is dirty and he makes everyone else on his line even better..sid doesnt get amazing passes from dupuis and talbot all the time like ovechkin would from semin backstrom and all those other great players to score goals side just does it by himself...and i never said ovechkin is shit..i think best players in the nhl are 1.crosby and then 2. a tie with either ovi and datsyuk
