  • @Wenubischannel Oh.....I apologize. Didn't mean to offend :(

  • @just1otherfan I don't know how you've translated that, but it's not proper Dutch......

  • @BellePullman Ah, yeah...well all I know was that it ran over...and I knew about Tony Timberlake set to be Growltiger...its what I was trying to say and explain to the others that Growltiger's Last Stand was meant to be filmed, with Tony instead of John Mills because he was almost blind and didn't have the strength to play the part...

  • @loopylupin09 Yes, it's a common misconception that the "running over time" refers to the length of the film, but actually it was the time taken in recording that went over. You probably did read it was that the film was too long, but that's inaccurate. Tony Timberlake himself confirmed it was all set to be filmed with him as Growltiger :)

  • @Wenubischannel I'm not sure...it's probably what they thought best at the time and I guess if they had to run over time, it would cost them more to get it made...

I would definintely buy it if they bring one out with more clips and the full actual movie, not with the bits cut out but so it was true to the show...

But...it was their decision and we probably won't know the reasoning behind it...

  • @loopylupin09 But why didn't they bring out a dvd or something with the clips that were removed? I would buy that, and i think a lot of people would do it either, so i don't see why they don't do that

  • @BellePullman, I've read that Tony Timberlake was doing it, as John Mills couldn't do the role of Growltiger due to the fact that he was almost blind at that stage and couldn't really do Growltiger (the physical stuff) ...but because of the length of the movie already, the just decided to cut it...it's probably the reason why they cut out parts from gumbie cat, jellicle ball, Mr Mistoffelees etc...the film was going too long for them...

  • @loopylupin09 It wasn't that the movie was running over time, but that filming ran overtime! They simply took too long with Sir John Mills to get the shots of Growltiger done, so they cut it.

  • Heusen lekker ! Mijn fav. lied van spelen :D

  • @dragonfriendcat I read that they were all set for including this in the movie, but they ran out of time and the movie would have been too long. As for the props needed for Pekes and Pollicles...doesn't this need a lot of back drops and pirate costumes? I think they're about even in propping...not trying to argue or anything!
