  • Fine, but how about a few notes with the mids past half, for those who don't play metal all the time?!

  • @shreddy412 Hopefully it's your last...

  • Plus I think there is a mic EQ issue with this video. Like I said this doesn't give the amp any justice. It's kind of a bad amp demo. Not cuz of the player, he's great!

  • This video does not give the amp any justice whatsoever. I personally do not like the sound of EMG's thru this amp or any Blackstar. I used my Gibson Les Paul's thru these amps and they really shimmered nicely. I also have a couple Framus custom guitars with Seymour Duncan's that sounded really great with this amp. Crystal clear tone even with the gain cranked. I don't usually put the gain up all the way. Plus I like the mids around 2-3 O'clock. This is my new favorite amp. It does everything

  • @TheSchafer78 Don't get me wrong, man,I know all that, most of the music that I play-there's fair amount of mids...I said what I said because usually scooped mids are immediately connected with metal... Have a nice day!

  • @alenchence In his defense his guitar isn't really up to specs for much else. Great guitar, but definitely a metal guitar.

  • Haha pause at 2:54 :D

  • @alenchence The lots of mids eq style is very common in metal actually. Most lead guitarists I know turn the mids up all the way so they cut through, and i never put them below half. have a good one!
