  • Music is the uniter...an African American woman, a Spaniard, singing in Tokyo, singing in languages that are foreign to all. I Love it.

  • Kathleeen is AMAZING but I'm also impressed with how Placido modulated the volume of his dramatic tenor voice as he wouldhave totally drowned out her soubrette if he was singing with his entire capital.

    Two fantastic artists.

  • @blkchk The Merry Widow is in English - did you listen to the whole clip?

  • Domingo é ancora un tenore ragguardevole, la Battle é bravina ma nulla più...d'altronde é una buona vocalista, e la tecnica la sostiene molto bene.

  • How fortunate I am - blessed even to find these wonderful performers - Inspiring.

  • @Liwah he behaved so gentlemanly:-)))

  • wansob - thank you so much for sharing this. what joy, what life, what beauty!

  • moi aussi, j'ai la chair de poule. c'est bien possible qu'une telle beaute existe, grace a ces deux grands artistes.

  • This is just...heavenly!

  • Magnificient!

  • This is the King at his best, singing with one of the most beautiful voice in the world....A princess. It is truly a dream and shall I say a ...Live happy ever after. Wonderful singing from the great Domingo.

    Bravo! 6 stars if permitted.

  • Three great stars: Battle, Domingo and Levine. Beautiful, though it's not so good to at Kathleen's face, more precisely at her lips, specially on high notes. It's a mania of her, that's ok! But her voice is simply marvellous, one of the most beautiful one I have ever heard, along with Leontina Vaduva (listen to her Micaella). Placido is simply the most recorded tenor, and great one. I adore all of the three!
