How does the dell monitors compare in contrasts to an HP monitor or some of the other ones out in the market? I imagine better specifications and better res. I was looking at Dell laptops vs something like HP and I just wanted to see what the differences were.

@808mauna it is, it just doesn't have speakers. Not sure if this is true for Xbox, but I was able to hook this monitor up to my PS3 with picture via HDMI and sound through the composite port and hooked it up to speakers. Just had to change my PS3's sound output to composite instead of HDMI and it worked awesome and saved me tons of money

@jonade123 no it doesn't. I own this monitor. You can easily hook up speakers to whatever you're gonna use it for though

@808mauna If you have turtle beaches u can plug your beaches right and left (red and white) into a cheap tv then use the hdmi to the monitor it works awesome

@retromelon123 16 years old but nevertheless I bought it with my own money so its not only used for weather stuff anymore I am using it on my video editing and all... thanks for the comment!
