I dont know you why you go here

I mean I from mexico but this is the most poor area of acapulco it is called playa caleta or caletilla and it is where is the people who dont have economic resources go , dont go there go to playa condesa where is a bettter place , it is good to know everything but dont stay there it is ugly! well thats my opinion go ahead if you want!

@subersore - today that may be the case, but back in the 70s... this was the beach to be at. The center part is now an amusement park of some sort, that's what I was told. when I was a kid, it was a kinder care. I left Acapulco when I was 11 years old (im now 39) this was the place. Is the Plaza de toros still there?

@d3lions I don't know if it's still the original Plaza de Toros, but yeah, it's there.

@subersore I've been to both Caleta and Condesa several times, and I like Caleta a lot. Hardly any gringos, much quieter, and the hotels and restaurants are way cheaper. Also, every time I've been to Condesa, the waves and/or undertow is too strong for swimming.
