Please don't compare Spacemen 3 or Jesus and Mary Chain to MGMT that's just retarded and insulting. MGMT is not shoegaze so fuck off. I won't even bother to insult the wretched band.

@wungabunga I haven't got primal scream yet, even though I've tried a few times :P The jesus & mary chain are pretty good though! But I just love these guys! I fell for them on the album "Forged Prescriptions". It is much better than the studio album named "The Perfect Prescription" I think. Search for walking with jesus alternate version and you'll hear beauty :)

@InfamousA no dude, fuck you. whatever spacemen was to you when you first started listening to them, MGMT has been to me ever since congratulations came out. I know you probably put them off because they had a mainstream hit, but that literally is one of the only songs of theirs that isnt completely inspired by the same music you probably like. I mean this generation is embracing your music, why not give any of the few good bands these days a listen?

than the beatles
i dont know what happened in this conversation before this
but mgmt actually does some serious ass kicking , while i think their stuff may have been exploited i think mgmt did something incredible
