Look at me, not my disability!

"Different Abilities" is a program aimed at the social inclusion of persons with disabilities, providing them with strong creative knowledge and the opportunity to learn and express their stories and raise awareness of their rights by using audio-visual means. The program was conducted through a three month workshop which resulted in two public service announcements developed by the participants themselves. The announcements promote the awareness of the rights of people with disabilities.

The production of "Different abilities" PSAs by persons with disabilities is the first of its kind in Jordan. It was implemented by the Royal Film Commission Jordan with the support of UNESCO Office Amman, the British Council and the British Embassy in 2010 This Public Service Announcement was produced by UNESCO Amman, the British Council and the Royal Film Commission in support of the Higher Council for Persons with Disabilities in Jordan.
