Guitar Hero was better when there wasn't keyboard. But now Guitar Hero sucks cause of Rockband Keyboards and Pro sets.
-
i have both and i prefer rockband 3... a question... is there a keyboard for guitar hero? no... sorry... RB3 BETTER
-
no offense to rockband fans but i like guitar hero better!

@deathwing107 Pro mode is a nice addition I agree, but I'm pretty sure people will start losing interest in it given how limited it is. I'm a vocalist primarily and my main gripe is with the vocals engine. It's very lenient, meaning you can sightread FC even moderately difficult songs. You can't possibly tell me that overdrive activation for drums and vocals is better in rock band than guitar hero, it's a very broken and poorly thought out system.

@boyoboyySH 2nd spelling of horrible was a typo : /
Rock Band is terrible: horrible vocals engine, horibble game in general. If you think Rock Band is better you obviously haven't played Guitar Hero.

@boyoboyySH And... people still play the game and continue to download Rock Band DLC. Guess not everyone agrees with you...
And I've played both... Rock Band, in my opinion, is much better. Song Selection alone makes it better.

@deathwing107 Yeah the game has a bigger song library but that's really the best thing it has going for it.

@boyoboyySH You say that like it's trivial. The gameplay isn't that much different from GH with the exception of Pro Mode, which was a nice plus, but the charting is still decent, better at times than GH and even worse at times than GH.
Only reason I could think why you'd consider RB "Horrible" other than maybe your opinion on how they chart songs is the difference in game modes... which is more of a personal preference than anything. I hated the game modes in GH, took away from the music.

The other problems with the vocals I found is that the talkies often don't work, you don't get visual feedback on what parts of the notes you are hitting, you score the same for every phrase no matter how accurately you hit it so long as you get an "awesome" which would be OK if the system wasn't so ridiculously lenient.

@boyoboyySH I've dabbled in Vox a few times and never really noticed the talkies not working like they should, personally. I've also seen videos where they were working properly... check out dogfoodnyc's channel, from what I remember the Vox in all of his RB3 videos works just fine.
