High School Girls Basketball: Cretin-Derham Hall vs. Central (2006)

1st half of a regular season game in the 2006-07 season featuring two powerhouse teams in the state of Minnesota, St. Paul Central and Cretin-Derham Hall. This game featured Angel Robinson and Alyssa Karel before they began their college careers at Marquette and Wisconsin, respectively. Also look for Kiara Buford, who will be going to Minnesota next year.

Central would eventually win the class 4A state championship in 2007.

Is there usually a freshsoph team for girls basketball in highschool? Freshsoph is like a skill (team) lvl beneath JV. Pls somebody tell me

Yeah. Most schools have a 9th grade and JV team, and it works in that tier.

Hi!

Many US High Schools have Varsity (whoever is best), Junior Varsity (usually sophomores (Grade 10) or good freshmen (Grade 9), and a Freshman team (all Grade 9).

Some High Schools, usually smaller ones, only have Varsity and J.V.
