Plymouth

Thought it was about time that there was a video on here that shows the best of Plymouth for a change. When the sun shines, it's actually not a bad place to live. Yes it may be 10 years behind most other places... but, that's part of its charm !

Located in Devon in the South West of England, Plymouth is busting with history. Home of the largest Navy base in Europe. The strating point of the Pilgrim Fathers famous voyage on to discover the new lands of America. Home of Sir Francis Drake, Captain Robert Falcon Scott and Sir Walter Raleigh to name but a few.

With Plmouth Sound and the sea beyond to the south, Dartmoor to the North. With the beaches and amazing countyside of Devon and Cornwall only a stones throw away, Plymouth is a great place to be in, on or near the water in the great outdoors.

Dispite all the negatives I'm proud of my little City by the Sound. Shot this summer, here are just a selection of the best bits. Enjoy !

Plymouth is the concrete anus of england, locals are very much backwards and aggressive. The economy relies on the Navy and University i would hate to think what this city would be like if it wasnt for these factors, a neglected sluggish economic shithole like its next door neighbour cornwall. Plymouth also being the biggest eye saw, Concrete breeze block sheds comprising most of the housing. I thought Compton L.A was bad Im happy ill be seeing the back of this place in 5 months. Peace out.

Maybe it's full of concrete blocks due to the fact got flattened in WW2! The "Navy" and Dockyard has not been such a major economical player in the city for well over a decade now. Whilst the UoP has grown (now 36,000 students) and somewhat replaced it. BUT what is wrong with that ?

Maybe the city will be glad to see the back of you in 5 months ? It's not perfect nor will it ever be, but to a lot of people it is home and that's why many who come here decide to stay.
