  • Jim & Marian Jordan [Fibber McGee and Molly] were on NBC's Tuesday night schedule for Johnson's Wax from 1935 through 1950; then, for Pet Milk (1950-'52), and finally for Reynolds Metals {Reynolds Wrap} in 1952-'53. Then, they appeared in a daily 15 minute edition of their radio show [without an audience] from 1953 through '56. They continued doing five minute routines on NBC's "MONITOR", until Marian's death in 1961.

  • Sorry, no but I do remember Chicken Man (he's everywhere, he's everywhere).

  • Anyone from southeast Michigan remember when WWJ AM 950 had a program at midnight called "When radio was"? I don't know if they still do it but during the 80's and 90's they played old time radio shows. I'm looking for one of those programs in particular. It's a pretty funny one but it's a needle in a haystack. If it's possible to dig up what was aired at a particular time in the past, I'm looking for one they played in 1992. It was an old program probably from the 1940's.

  • @kirafics This episode was played on XM's Old Time Radio channel the week of 117/7/2010. It aired January 27, 1942 according to Greg Bell's blog.

  • I listen to them on wrvo playhouse as often as possible and I'm 33 yrs. old my kids listen also!

  • My fave clip from McGee & Molly is from a movie where they are going down in a crashing plane. McGee says: "Boy, I'll remember this the rest of my life!" Molly replies: "This IS the rest of your life!" Great stuff, just purely to LAUGH AT.

  • does anyone know what year this clip is from?

  • ...featuring Frank Nelson from the Jack Benny Show.
