I absolutely loved this episode. It was haunting, chilling, heartbreaking, yet, at the same time, so beautiful. ef - a tale of melodies is definitely of the the best anime ever.

I just felt so sorry for Yuuko after this, and its such a shame what happens to her in the end. I mean I know it paves the way for the first EF series, but she really didn't deserve what happened to her at the end of the second series.

That was... intense.

This scene is so brutal and raw. (To wonder over and over what you did to deserve the treatment an abuser inflicts on you. To be told to forget your scars as if it were so easy.) The anime's writing, art style, acting and music all work together like a masterpiece.

I feel like I'm never going to be happy again *crawls into the corner of despair*

I was not expecting the second season to change so drastically from tragic romance like the first season to mindfuck tragic romance... I can't tell which one I like better.

idk i didnt really like her that much. i just thought she just seemed messed up in the head. not her fault but she was. and i knew she would die because of her in a tale of memories. the end of this was just creepy. she was just a lost poor girl :/. But to die right before he could say anything to her sucks
There are more than 1 season of this can you guys tell me and how many other tales anime there are

There are two seasons, the first one is ef ~a tale of memories~ , the second one is ef ~ a tale of melodies~. Both are based on VNs by Minori. Also there's a recap episode of the first season but it's not that important.
