Nikhil Banerjee has always been to me the greatest master of the sitar because of his unique phrasing, melodic expression, and extreme sensitivity. I have this album, of course, as I have most of his recordings. Sadly, few are the students who can emulate the talent, dedication and spirituality of the old masters!

Imho, there's only a few artists that manage to 'extract' the correct emotion from Bhimpalasi. Nikhilda is surely the best of them all.
