Very unique style! You should make this style into a genre, and call it ocean. It's just so jazzy, modern and mysterious, but not erie. Wonderful tone dude.

Haha I know exactly what you mean. I used to get prices messed up all the time. I thought the monterey pop replicas were like 3000 dollars- but that was before I knew there was only 200 of them lol

Really nice playing ive got the same guitar and thinking about fitting custom shop 54 pickups do you think its worth doing will the tone be a lot different?

Honestly I'm not sure. I would be curious if with the 54's you would get the buzz? My 57 re-issue has era pick ups (single coil) and yes you need to deal with the noise.

What a tone! - Its so nice, so...strat! And I love it!
I have a american standard as well and i can´t get my tone. Would you help me? - What amplifier did you use on it? Have you ever made any mods in your guitar?

Sure, I'll help as I can. First I prefer tube amps. I"m using a Peavey amp. The amp has 4-1o" speakers clean channel. Effects- Boss compression, Boss blues driver and a line six delay. The line 6 has a loop that I'm playing over. If you post something let me know. See ya!
