Plowed Under?

Year's ago, I used to bike into work. All year. In Houghton, Michigan. People asked why, I said "for spirit". It was easier than explaining the deep overwhelming sadness and urge to hibernate. Today I use a light box. But part of me misses that spirit (though not the cold feet!) I created this story as part of a Train the Trainer Workshop at the Center for Digital storytelling in February 08. It's part of our project at Michigan Disability Rights Coalition to teach people with disabilities to tell stories. We are working in partnership with UCP MI and received funding from AT&T Foundation.
