Severe Thunder and lightning over Plymouth Devon UK

Over the years we have seen some awesome thunder and lightning in Plymouth. The beginning of this film is the biggest by far. We have tried to edit some good ones for you. Check out the strike in the garden behind early on in the video and the 'stepped leader' by a piece of wood bottom right of frame app 45 seconds in. Please excuse our comical voices and our Grandad calling his cat. Enjoy : )

I live near Heathrow Airport, and not long ago there was some thunder and a lightning flash, I love it all, just the heavy rain I dont like, it didn't go dark, it was like how that is in the vid, but it was just a spontanious minor storm, May 21st I think it was

I remember a brill lightning storm in Plymouth in 2005 were it was just lighting and no thunder but the cool thing was the lightning was every 3 seconds itvwas like war of the worlds loved it

@archiepops Lool, Yep, well its kinda annoying, coz there is a constant high pitch noise in the morning and evening when the planes are turning their engines off and shit like that xD
