They use to feed chickens marigold to make them yellow, and produce really golden orange yoke. True corn fed chicken doesn't need paint, and you can't scratch off the yellow like that. That paint job is a sad showing. Chicken will also yellow from spending alot of time in the sun, and being fed off of who grains with husk still on, or rice with husk still on. The fat will also go yellow. Its absolutely delicious. Not sure how good the paint on this one will taste.

its not sprayed, they take on that colour if they are corn fed chickens, there is nothing wrong with it, i bet it was the best tasting chicken you ate. compared to those disgusting shed raised cheap chickens.

They are also adding carcinogenic nitrates to their 'organic bacon, I complained they said it keeps the meat red, they didn't understand at all that people who buy organic meats do not want non organic chemical additives to preserve redness..apparently it is permissible

looks ridiculously oily
To be honest it tasted like any other chicken. What upset me was that I had the impression that a corn-fed chicken might well have a yellowish flesh from eating mainly yellow corn. This showed that it only had yellow flesh because it had (I imagine) been sprayed on to the carcase. Where do you work? Best regards, Roger.
