Here is a video from the Piranha Bytes game, Gothic 3. This is me running backwards from the inside of the mine under the Hammer Clan's village back out to show all the bodies of the aftermath of having to kill every single orc in the ore mines.
I'm not sure if this was bugged, but I approached, unknowingly, the 'back entrance' and seemed to aggro every single orc in the entire base. Hours later, after dying dozens of times, having to use quicksave several times, I finally finished them off to discover that if I had gone the 'proper' way, there was the village of 'Hammer Clan' which had dozens of friendly warrior and orc hunter NPC's that, I guess, might have helped me clear the damn thing. Ouch.
There is some stuttering at the beginning because of Gothic 3's wacky streaming/memory management problems.
Hardware: Gigabyte EP45-DS3L, Intel E5200 @ 3.3 GHz, 4GB RAM, ASUS EN9800GT Ultimate, Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit
Settings: 1680x1050, Very High, Community patch v1.70.29, Alternative Balancing On
Recorded with FRAPS and converted with VirtualDub 1.9.9.
@magicaljake4 Thanks! I've only used the stock community patch with no config file changes. This video is mostly close-up in the mines so you don't see that if I look out at far distances, the quality definitely doesn't look as good. It runs fine, just doesn't look as pretty.
Recording to a different harddrive from the one Gothic 3 is (almost constantly) loading from really helps. When I convert using VirtualDub 1.9.9 I add a 'sharpen' filter with value '20' which helps YouTube look. Good luck!

Very nice mate, very smooth running i must say.
I'm just about to embark on my Gothic 3 Let's play (English).
Tips or "hints" for a smooth record?
the Quality you get is amazing!
