  • Unfortunately, I'm quite a sentimental guy; when my romance ended with a girl I was in love with, I - a then 24-year old (much younger than this tune, I'm 26 now) - listened to this all the time whilst I wallowed in my sorrows. Can't say it made me feel better, but I reckon in such a depressed state there is this odd (possibly unhealthy too?) comfort you get from the sadness. Amazing... this short tune depicted my heartbreak so accurately, both lyrically and musically.

  • Spot on for me right now, I'm a little teary-eyed right now.

  • Song For Ariel by Panda Bear!

  • @groseron I totally agree with the comfort part

  • I love that we actually get to watch the record spin.

  • I think that Mando Diao made the best cover. Very good. Check please. Live At Rock Am Ring 2011

  • @groseron I feel the same -- exact -- way. It's just awful, but the sadness of the song carries you along. It holds you steady and allows you to feel every word of the pain. Until, finally (at long last), you begin to feel better.

    It's really quite amazing.
