She's the one who went on a rampage and destroyed universes, She's the one who defeated gladiator like he's nothing (despite the fact that he threw the juggernaut half way across the Atlantic ocean) and she's the one who nearly defeated Galactus. Did you see storm doing any of that? Noo. She might be a goddess and a powerful mutant but even if she does succeed against phoenix. Phoenix will just be reborn again. Lol.
