I like the 1981 recording the most. It is much more reflected and precise.

Do you actually consider the 81's version much too fast? Wierd. His tempo is slower than yours...

More pronounced left hand in the 81 version, drier and less pedal; I prefer the more singing, spontaneous, joyful 55 version.
