  • Rainn, what is the purpose of your trip to Haiti? Fact findings or just wanted to know for yourself how bad and primitive Haiti is....

    Sincerely,

    JP

  • I am a very optimist individual. I know one day things will be different in Haiti. The US is losing its status as the biggest economy as China is moving foward. We, Haitians of the dispora, have a very positive input in Haiti. I believe our influences will make a big difference in Haiti if we all get on board now as Haiti is heading towards a better tomorrow. We should be the biggest investors in Haiti so Haiti won't be like other Caribbean Islands or DR.

  • My friend, I really don't believe whether I should answer such comment or just ignore it, but return Haiti to France makes you sound worse than the dictators who betrayed the Haitians. Maybe because you live in the US you think it would be OK for the Haitians to once again become someone's slaves shows me how selfish you are. Life is a battlefield, we, Haitians, are fighters. We shall overcome one day.

  • Haiti is suffering and will always suffer unless we gave that land to either France or the US. Haiti was once considered to be the most important land in the new world at the time of Columbus and many countries have fought hard to control that land. We are hated because we are blacks and we took away a very important land from the colonists. Unless that there is a major catastrophe we Haitian will never be united. We are being attacked indirectly and our enemies pretend that they are helping us.

  • You are very smart indeed because you understand well how a lot of countries divide and conquer. Not everything in this world is black and white but unfortunately we have a lot of stupid people amongst us who can not see clearly so therefor we are doomed. I have done a lot of research in politics and on Haiti and from what I have found it is not all that it seems to be when it comes to bad Haitian presidents and bad governments. I agree with you one hundred percent about the poverty level.

  • There is poverty in most countries in the world but in the case of Haiti it's some 75% of the population that is below the poverty line. We are a country with 80% unemployment. Sadly and truthfully our case is some of the worse courtesy of France & the USA since the day we showed them the true meaning of freedom & liberty. We need to set an example with the next dictator by setting his ass on fire before the US send a plane to get him and his family out, then head over to the US embassy.

  • I believe the whole world knows the truth about the good old USA. Most European countries support the good old USA since they benefit from it. We Africans need to unite just like the Asians and avoid being divided like the Arabs. See how the jews keep the arabs divided by manipulated the US with the holocaust so they can fuck up the Middle East. We, Haitians know how wealthy our country is but since we've been divided and manipulated for so long sadly now impoverished is what we are known for.

  • It's about time that we Haitians and the rest of the world start telling the truth about the good old USA. Let the rest of the world be aware of the American nightmare instead of the American dream, most people living in the US are living paycheck to paycheck and 75 percent of the population are on drugs. How the United States and France cause Haiti to be in the situation that we are in because these two countries are vultures not the charity givers that they pretend to be.

  • It's about time that we star showing the poverty here in the US, like South Bronx; South LA so many more ect and start saying that this is the USA the richest country on earth, LMAO.

  • By the way, It is to believe the reasons behind all the garbages on the streets are to get the attention and the pity (money) from foreigners like you whose trips to Haiti are humanitarian based. Next time you go to Haiti, if you get to meet some politicians or the elites try to ask them how do they feel living in a city or a country where garbages are all over. I would love to hear the answers they'll give you.
