"Race In America Then & Now" - Debate with Malcolm X, James Farmer and Wyatt T. Walker from June 12th, 1963. In this historic debate, Malcolm X explains the flaws in the Civil Rights Movement and explains why integration won't work. The debate which is about 1 hr 45 min is followed by another look back at the debate almost 30 years with James Farmer and Wyatt T. Walker. They admit how naive they were back in the 1960's and how correct Malcolm X was with his analysis. Approximately 2.5 hrs

  • farmer was wrong. he said 3 years. it's 2010 and segregation still exists in cities throughout the us. not legal segregation, but urban areas are still very segregated.
