Jonas & Ellis...Plus 19 Chp. 15

Nick picked me up and Adam was with my kids. Joe and Kevin were up and furious. We drove to the bar where Nicki was, and I saw our SUV. I hopped out and opened the door. Nicki was passed out in the front seat.

"Meet me at home," I told Nick. He nodded and pulled out.

I climbed in and slammed the door. My wife didn't even stir. Clenching my teeth and the steering wheel, I drove home carefully. When I pulled into my driveway, her brothers and Adam were there.

I carried her inside and tucked her into our bed. She wreaked of alcohol. Everyone was waiting for me downstairs.

"She....is in so much trouble," Joe said.

"I can't believe she went to a bar!" Adam said angrily.

"We'll deal with this tomorrow," I said. "Thanks for your help."

They nodded and left. I wrote a note for Nicole and left it on my pillow, then I slept in the guest room. I was beyond disappointed in her.

~Nicki's P.O.V.

I have the worst headache of all time!

I rolled over as a roar of thunder sounded outside. Keeping my eyes closed, I felt the bed for David. I came up empty, and my eyes shot open. I sat up, and looked at his pillow. His side of the bed hadn't been touched, but there was a note on his pillow.

Nicole,
I am so disappointed in you that I can't even sleep with you tonight. Nick and I found you passed out in the front seat of our car, outside of a bar. You wreak of alcohol. I want you to take a shower, wear your pajamas, and meet me in my office directly.

Tears filled my eyes.

He didn't stay with me last night? I crawled out of bed, and walked into our bathroom. I hopped into a cool shower, and washed my body. Last night was the biggest mistake of my life. I only had three drinks, but my diabetes was seriously acting up in response to the alcohol. I didn't pass out from being drunk...my blood sugar was out of control.

I changed into my pjs, pulled my hair up into a ponytail, then walked to David's office. I stopped dead in my tracks at the doorway. My brothers, Adam, and David were inside, looking at me in disappointment and anger.

"Sit." David ordered. I walked in and sat on the couch.

"We're are all very disappointed in you Nicole-" David began.

"I'm sorry!" I exclaimed, cutting him off.

"Do NOT interrupt me," he said in a firm tone. "I was worried sick last night. I stayed up until one o'clock waiting for you to come home. This family does not drink, and you know that. I'm telling you the truth when I say that I've lost my trust in you. We all have."

I glanced around at my brothers, who shook their heads. I looked down, ashamed of myself. "Can I tell you that I wasn't drunk?" They looked at me in suprise. "I had three drinks, and my blood sugar was out of control."

"You shouldn't have been at a bar in the first place. We DO NOT drink in this family." Kevin was speaking now.

"I knew you were stressed Sissy- I mean Nicole," Nick said, changing my nickname to my full name after a stern glance from Adam. "I was goig to tell David, but I had no clue you would do this. This unexcuseable."

"We've talked, and decided how you can earn our trust back." Joe said.

I snapped my head up.

"We are each going to spank you." David stated.
