  • how big is the stock carb

  • i know your in england but when you say 100 are you meaning 100 kph or 100 mph?

  • @paintch3ck MPH

  • What made you choose this kit over any others? I am currently looking at the yoshimura stroker 450 kit.

  • @ThaBR33D well the yoshimura kit is not just a big bore it's a stroker kit.. So your be replacing the crank to which give you more cc's . Mine is just a big bore.. Reason went Athena is it's the best brand and has better cooling over another kits.. But the cylinder works big bore kit is just as good.. :-)

  • How much did you pay for the big bore kit?

  • very nice drz!!!

  • what is the difference between the fcr 39 and the fcr mx ? witch one is newer and witch one is better ?

  • i have a 30mm carburettor in my derbi drd 125 :D

  • Hey man I just bought a 11 drz400sm and im thinking about buying the 440cc kit but im worried about it becoming unreliable and I was wondering if yours is still reliable as it was when you had it stock

  • @kpertchik The gearing on your XR400 will be vastly different and aid with power wheelies and feel better for the low end torque as you pointed out. Karl actually uses a smaller back sprocket as standard, and 17" road wheels, instead of the presumably off road tyres on yours.

I have seen guys on DRZ's power wheelie in fourth, but they have gearing that restricts the top end, which Karl has gone the other way with his gearing.
