This is my entry for Diebeq5b's contest.
"The Agori and Glatorian are acting foolish. They believe more trees and vegitation will miraculously emerge from the dried soil to replace the ones they have taken the instant they do so. That is why I am here, to protect our endangered vegitation, and I will not just stand aside and let you or anyone else come into these forests and horde more wood for yourself!"
Though young and inexperianced at the time, Lotawn was a soldier under the command of the Elemental Lord of Jungle, fighting on his behalf to gain control of the newly discovered energized protodermis. Due to the Shattering, Lotawn and many others were trapped on Bara Magna.
After the social system was established, Lotawn became one of Magmus' first students. He would go on to become a victor of hundreds of battles, at one point winning the Great Tournament. Eventually, he became one of Tesara's main Glatorian, winning many victories on the Jungle Tribe's behalf.
However, several years ago Lotawn began to become seriously worried about the stated of of the planet and the effect it was having on few the forests and jungles that were left within his people's region. He also became worried about the number of trees that were being used by members of various villages. Deciding to do something about it, Lotawn passed his roll as Tesara's main Glatorian to someone else, and began living in one of the few forests that managed to thrive away from Tesara.
Ever since, Lotawn has been living within the jungle, caring for the trees and plants, as well as driving off anyone intending to cut them down.
Abilities & Traits:
Lotawn is a veteran of hundreds of battles. He knowns to always take a moment to study his opponent before rushing into battle, and learned during his training with Magmus to never allow his emotions to control his actions during combat. In addition, he is a master swordsman, capable of fighting multiple foes at once when the situation demands it.
He is also very carring and protective of the remaining patches of forest and jungle left within the region he lives, and is more than willing to drive off Agori and Skrall looking to chop down the trees of his realm. He also has an intence hatred of poachers, Agori and Bone Hunters who kill rare animals merely to collect the most valuable parts of their bodies.
In addition to a shoulder-mounted Thornax Launcher, Lotawn wields twin swords sharp enough to slice through rock.
