Pianist Donnie Heitler playing a solo version of "Everything I Love" by Cole Porter live at the Great Impasta in Urbana Illinois in 2009.
I asked Donnie, a great friend and outstanding musician, if he'd be willing to record a short tune of his choice for the internet, and he chose this. Sorry for the background noise, although I did manage to eliminate some. (Hey, it's a restaurant). I had only my video camera, so I had to use the audio from that. Nevertheless, his musicality always shines through. I've heard him play cheap toy keyboards in Best Buy and make them sound like a million bucks!
Enjoy one of the most musical people in the world playing in a cozy little Italian restaurant!

Free three-hour concert every Wednesday of great piano playing--can't beat that. If you live around here, there's no excuse not to catch Donnie Heitler playing at the Impasta. What a treat! Thanks, Kevin, for capturing a taste of it.
