THIS IS NOT THE SAME GROUP THAT HIT BIG WITH BRANDY YOU'RE A FINE GIRL. AGAIN THE RECORD SHOWN IS NOT THE SAME AS THE SONG BEING PLAYED. THIS ONE IS CLASSIC SUNSHINE POP IF YOU HAD TO DEFINE CLASSIC SUNSHINE POP THIS SONG WOULD BE IT. BUT IT'S NOT MY FAVE BUT IT'S GROWING ON ME. RICH

  • What year is this one from? The reason I ask is that I heard that there was a completely different group called the Looking Glass than the one that did "Brandy (You're a Fine Girl)" that was actively recording in the late 1960s. "Brandy" didn't come out until 1972. It was supposedly a song that came from out of nowhere by an unknown group but went all the way to #1 (with thanks to Harv Moore of WPGC in Washington, DC, who was the first DJ to regularly play the record).
