@nsdgvsdhfhjdfbd even though it can be use as marcial art, it's a dance, I'm brazilian and I used to pratice that with my friends , and in colone times the slave's owner acually forbid the pratice of this dance

@renanmarca1 It is a martial art, invented by slaves on Brasil plantations. Thye made it to look like a tribal dance so that they'r owner's wouldn't suspect they were training fighting techniques.
However, you aren't wrong, in capoeira (I've already been a capoeira student) you never really hit your opponet.....and that's why I quited. But, no matter if it is a dance or a martial art, one thing is certain: If you use it as a fighting style and your good at it, it works as any other martial art
