Norfolk Southern C40-9W #9461, SD60 #6568, ex-Conrail SD40-2 #3429, and SD60M #6900 haul a long manifest freight up the Pittsburgh Line, past the David Lawrence Convention Center and across the Allegheny River on a massive bridge that once carried streetcars on its lower deck. The train will be broken up at Conway Yard, not far from here, and has quite a few loaded trash containers in tow, from East Coast cities.
Later that evening, two NS C40-9Ws and a C40-8 haul empty trash containers over the river, back toward the east coast, passing the convention center and CP Pitt.
~Thanks for watching!~
NS #6900 is am SD60E. Not a SD60M
