@xxYakumoYukarixx Well, Okami is made of lots of Japanese myths. It is very possible this is one of them.

actually i don't think waka and kaguya knew each other.. they do look alike but they have an large age difference (i.e. when mr. bamboo told kaguya that many years ago he found her cold and small body)

Kaguya went to the moon... have you ever heard the tale of TsukiHime?
A princess from the Lunar Capital (The Moon) crash landed long ago. She was raised by a bamboo cutter who warmly took her in as his own daughter... and, after some time, finally found a way to get back to the moon... it is very possible that she knew Waka. They are both from the moon tribem, Kaguya being the lunar princess.
