UT381 Lux MeterIllumination is a physical quantity, numerically equal to the luminous flux onto one surface unit. Illumination is measured in the Si-system in lux. The device used to measure the illumination is called the lux meter. The Lux meter UT-381 is used to measure illumination in the range of 0 - 20000 lux. It is presented in a convenient ergonomic slightly curved frame made of high quality plastic. The construction comprises the sensor, the data processing block, the display and functional buttons. To start the device, remove the protective lid from the sensor and press the POWER button. Place the device in the horizontally, so that the sensor does not cover extra items or be shadowed by them. You can see the readings on the liquid-crystal display. In order to retain the measurement press the HOLD button. The lux meter UT 381 may store up to 2044 readings in its memory. To record, press the REC/ERASE button. The value will be recorded into the proper cell. To list data press the Menu button and page through the data containing cells by means of the right side buttons. Press the RANGE button to select the automatic or manual measuring limit. Press the MAX/MIN to see the minimal and maximal values.The lux meter UT 381 is supplied along with the battery power and the storage and transportation cover.
