  • And the Surah you read, "you have your religion, I have my religion", doesn't mean what you intend to make it mean.

  • @easyonetwothree What does it mean? And how do you know you have the correct meaning?

  • I actually took time to watch this, and what you said was: "You hate me because Im different.", not at all, you can look like the most ugly person and behave however you want to as long as it is in the islamic moral code, I will not hate you because of it, I will hate you because of your Kufr (disbelief) in the creator of the universe, your disbelief in Him who created you for one purpose, to worship only Him. Not because of your color, character, etc, but because of your disgusting creed.

  • @easyonetwothree I would rather die than hate you. That's a quote from dr. Martin Luther king, but it describes how I feel. I know you have a deep desire to live a righteous life, and I hope you will find the righteousness you seek. Peace.

  • Tick tock, i waiting on ur prolog vids... My AI class is almost finish :(

  • Ha, amazingly enough, those prolog vids are the most requested video series I ever did to continue....I'll start them up again when I get some time, they take forever to produce.

  • Yes, you keep trying, DavosLogos. You keep trying to throw your weight around by threatening people with moral judgments. That won't alienate anyone, oh no. That won't betray you as a hypocrite. (Your secret is safe with me.)

  • A person can not claim knowledge of the unseen. A person may have many reasons for not accepting Islam and only Allah (SWT) can judge if a persons reasoning is worth pardoning or not. You cant just have a broad hatred for non-Muslims unless of course its your mother in law and she happens to be Mormon *lol J/k

  • Shut the fuck up, you piece of hippy garbage. What a boring video.

  • All religions are like an disfunctional family, they cant agree on some things. I will always be willing to work with an atheist like yourself. than an hatefull muslim brother/sister.

the only time people from the same religion can agree. Is when they are fighting people from another religion.

  • I should say that I'm not, in any way, trying to 'spread hate' and I know that most-likely the vast majority of Muslims do not follow these particular injunctions.

Nevertheless, it remains the case that thse interpretations do exist and they do have mainstream influence. That's where the idea of Muslims having to have enmity towards non-Muslims comes from.

  • Ibn Kathir on Surah 60:4 -- "(and there has started between us and you, hostility and hatred forever) meaning, `Animosity and enmity have appeared between us and you from now and as long as you remain on your disbelief; we will always disown you and hate you until you believe in Allah alone."

Other verses that enjoin hostility towards unbelievers are: 48:29, 5:54, 9:73.

Regarding Al-Kafiroon: "this was [revealed] before he was commanded to wage war [against the idolaters]" Tafsir Jalalayn.

  • The Surah in question, 109, is called Al-Kafiroon, not Al-Kuffaar. :)

To understand this, it's necessary to refer to the Qur'an.

The idea that it is incumbent upon Muslims to have hostility to unbelievers is found in the Qur'an and in the mainstream exegeses.

Tafsir Ibn Kathir -- "Allah the Exalted says to His faithful servants, whom He commanded to disown the disbelievers, to be enemies with them, and to distance themselves and separate from them."

  • Surah 2: 109 was the closest translation... but not exact to how you quoted it.
