@Helton2121 :) no worries about the English, you sound fine. I agree with you that Nightwish has changed quite a bit, and yes their music lacks the complexity of their earlier albums in terms of the symphonic/classical component. A lot of this is because of the change in vocalist, but a lot of this is probably the band moving in a different direction, away from symphonic metal to power metal. Their hard rock sound isn't bad and is actually better than most, but the sound is simpler.

@Norbuzen actually, I do believe that nightwish deteriorated. Not just the vocals, but the lyrics and guitar are way to inferior to pretty much anything they did in their earlier works. The mood and themes have changed, the songs are quite softer than they once were. Listening to some of the new material I sometimes wonder if I'm hearing nightwish or some hardrock band with a girl on vocals. It's not a bad band, but it was way better before.

@Helton2121 LOL you're not serious are you? Nightwish may have changed (mostly in the vocal department), but that doesn't mean their music deteriorated. Plus there's still Epica, who as far as I know, is still continuing to cultivate their symphonic metal sound. Kudos to Liv Moon. They sound awesome, but there's no need to compare and trash other bands.
