~The Tracy Family. Mom ~ Jessica, Dad ~ Ben, Daughters ~ Ruby & Lydia, and Son ~ Phineas.

Phineas, who is now 20 months old, is ventilator and oxygen dependent. He has lung disease, heart disease, kidney disease and extensive tracheo and broncho malacia as well as Short Gut syndrome. He has been HOME (yay!) for 15 weeks now, since having spent 3/4 of his life in 3 different Pediatric Intensive Care Units and is finally thriving! They have nurses to help keep him home and healthy and they are so thankful! It remains to be seen if Fin can come off his ventilator for periods of time in the future. If he can, the air quality of their home will be a very big deal! They have forced hot air, wood heat and a damp moldy basement. This is a respiratory nightmare! And since they only have Ben's income (Jessie's job is being a mom and Fin's full-time nurse) They cannot afford to buy a new house or do the expensive upgrades needed for Fin's extensive needs.

  • How do we vote for the Tracy Family??

  • My son Hunter is 13 he has Tracheobronchomalacia with Innominate Artery Compression. He has not had to have a trache. But he has had 1RSV, 6Pnuemonias, 6Bronchitis' and 15Croups plus coutless URIs. He has been to our local ER 34 times in 10 yrs. I wish you the best this is a long hard road. There are support groups on Facebook called "Love For Malacia Babies" "Coping with Larygomalacia" "We Hate Tracheobronchomalacia" "Living with Tracheobronchomalacia" I hope that helps.

  • That poor little boy! He will be in my prayers.<3

  • they have already overcome many issues and will face many more again i am also ????on the rules as to helping others but you have to start at home before you can move on and out to others This baby requires more that 24/7 care he must have hand on and eyes on ALL the time i wish that they stay as focused as they are now and if a safe home can help with just one of Phin issues PLEASE help them
