This 9 part video is dedicated to two youtube viewers, Bnesque and the sister of Vitaly Tsvetkov. Bnesque is drowning in tears over the lost Ketinoa videos and she keeps making me cry. I had to find a way to stop all the crying and I found it (to be detailed below). The other youtube viewer is the sister of Vitaly Tsvetkov, who is shown often in this video. Tragically, Vitaly died before he reached the age of 50.
I found my time machine and went back to November 8, 1987. I arrived in Leningrad, now called St. Petersburg, in time to celebrate the 35th birthday of Galina Mezentseva . So what did she do on her 35th birthday? She took class with Vladilen Semenov , who some might know as Mr. Kolpakaova . His wife, Irina Kolpakova , came toward the end of this class and worked with Galina as Odile from Swan Lake . Unfortunately, my time machine did not allow me to bring new technology to 1987, so I could only use 22 year old video equipment, in relation to 2009.
THIS IS A YOUTUBE FIRST. NEVER SEEN BEFORE. Eat your heart out Ketinoa. Even you did not have a 90 minute Kirov company class and focusing primarily on the birthday girl.
While Mezentseva was the main attraction, she did have some nice classmates. At the barre, she was standing in between Ravil Bagautdinov and Vitaly Tsvetkov. Both Ravil and Vitaly are fathers of dancers in the Mariinsky Ballet in 2009. Ilmira Bagautdinova and Alexander Tsvetkov are their children. Ilmiras mother, Olga Vtorushina, danced with Baryshnikov as her partner. Alexanders mother, Margarita Zenina, danced many of the cute roles, such as the Amor in Don Quixote and Little Red Riding Hood in Sleeping Beauty. There were two other dancers in this class with children in the current Mariinsky company. Evgeny Neff and Alexander Kurkov both have sons in the company. Both sons have the name of Alexander. So if you see the current dancer, Alexander Kurkov, do not get fooled. He did not find the Fountain of Youth. He is not his father. I think that Svetlana Efremova, who danced with Yuri Soloviev , is Alexander Neffs mother. One final current Mariinsky dancer to mention is Vera Garbuz , who is the daughter of Andrei Garbuz , who was briefly shown at the barre.
Other dancers shown include Konstantin Zaklinsky , Marat Daukayev , Makhar Vaziev , Alexander Lunyov , Eldar Aliev , Andrei Bosov , Elena Evteyeva , Margarita Kulik , Elena Pankova , Natalia Bolshakova and Irina Sitnikova, mother of Ivan Sitnikov in the Mariinsky Ballet . My final name to mention is Elena Vorontsova , the star of the Children of Theatre Street movie. Even Ketinoa was convinced that the Ketinoa collection contained no class videos of Vorontsova as a Kirov Ballet dancer. Well eat your heart out again Ketinoa. I have Vorontsova in class.
I enjoyed my day on Galinas 35th birthday and now I am crying a lot. Much of what I said was in fun, but the tears do show how much this video means to me. It is very special to me.

  • @AmateurExpertFilms Have in mind that a lot of the people who comment on rbv's videos are not from English-speaking countries, but we nevertheless try to make ourselves understood by writing in English even if we don't master the language. I'm sure you understood the person who wrote "misunderstanded" perfectly even though it was grammatically incorrect. By the way, you wrote "peoples grammar" and "these comment", which demonstrates your own grammar isn't great either.
