The deaths of at least 1,000 people since March 2008 in the ongoing nationalist insurgency in the volatile Pakistani province of Balochistan have often been overshadowed by the country's other troubles. Yet as the BBC's Syed Shoaib Hasan discovered, the suffering there is every bit as acute.
Getting to the vast Baloch tribal settlement of New Kahan is not easy. It is tightly guarded by a ring of checkpoints.
We slip quietly past through a gravel path with help from a local guide.
New Kahan is home to thousands of tribal Baloch people. The Baloch rebel anthem plays as children gather for assembly.

(Akber Bugti: “Hunger in Freedom is much better than replete in Slavery & never bow head down before the oppressors” – Pakistan/Taliban occupied Balochistan and by force it is world known fact). If Pakistan ever considered Balochs as own people, they would not have killed and kidnapped Balochs in a daylight. Remember: thousands of Balochs perished and no one knows about them - where they killed, burned or buried them?

I have seen the brutalities, humiliation, and suffering of the war. In the name of god or religion what Pakistani did to our people, I was 9 and naive about the women part, later I connect the dot. We have a very deep heart inflected wound which we need to heal, so it’s not ok to move on and forget 1971 genocide in Bangladesh

Why the civilized world is watching this genocide quietly?
The Pakistani army carried out one of the worse genocide in the human history in Bangladesh, where millions were raped, tortured and killed in cold blood, until India interfered and put an end to the war.
We Baloch are waiting for India, USA, EU and rest of the civilized world to come forward and stop this genocide against innocent people of Balochistan.
