  • @meyerneel The ability of Bixby band students is well above the normal for many other high school programs. It sounded great, and you're probably just being a critic because you didn't have the chops for this kind of music at this age.

  • This is really fast..... its 180 bpm ;P not 195. If slowed down a bit im sure it would sound alot nicer.

  • GOOD JOB BAND!! You guys sound tight and fairly clean at this speed, however you must be mindful of phrasing style and dynamics... Would have liked to see more dnc contrast during the trio in particular (perhaps leaving out lower brass first time)... And be sure tbns to connect those phrases as much as possible at the end when you're being featured, so it doesn't sound like you are breathing after everything longer than a q note. (hold til downbeat of one: Deet Deet Deet Deet daDeeeeeEEEET>>>1)

  • Play within your ability guys. High school bands can't play songs like this at tempo. This is a great example of it.

  • Go Mr. Wagner

  • Wooo Mr. Wagner

  • It would sound better if they slowed it down(No afense) But it sound mushed and rushed and crumpled together. Slow it down.
