In general, things have pros and cons. But one shouldn't kid oneself and believe that the American way is the best or even good. Ok if you're rich and all, then np probably. You just call your lawyer before you die of that life threatening disease... It is hard to say if the France model is better then the Britain model, and if they would work in either country. But the one in USA is just simply bad, inhumane.
While I think Michael Moore brings up some valid points and sheds light on how crappy the US health care system can be, it's also true that every country's health care system has its benefits, and there will undoubtedly be certain aspects of other countries' programs that are better than the US' and vice versa.
I love the campaign songs of yore, and part of me is glad that someone thought to make this tongue-in-cheek campaign song about Obama, but... it's just not as clever as I personally would have liked.
I agree with you about "crushes". It doesn't matter how old either party is; it's more about the puppy love feeling.
What a great resource! I'm a candidate for TESOL certification. I would love to hear more about your background in and experience with English language acquisition.
For those wanting to know just a little bit about the American health care system I actually would recommend Michael Moore's movie Sicko. It's actually quite good. You get to see also a little of Canada, Britain and France and their health care which is, as presented in the movie, amazing. At least I know a lot of things are great in France, and they work less then other people around Europe :p
