No Audio Output Device is Installed problem solved.
Follow the easy steps and your sound will be back.
Thank you for watching!

If you don't have the "sound, video, and game controllers" option you might have to download the correct sound driver from the internet (google) or from your computer manufacturer's website.

Here are some of the driver(s) that may work (google them):
"Vista_Win7_R241_x86" File From RealTek

According to a friendly viewer (bluveeta):
"If it still doesn't work for you after step 3, after you have downgraded to your old sound driver, reinstall the newest version again. Sometimes when a problem with a driver occurs you can fix it by reinstalling it (to do this downgrade then upgrade back to your newest/original driver ) *this is what worked for me w/ a toshiba satellite. It should work on other pc's if all else fails."

****UPDATE**** (May 15, 2011)
Check this link in case you have problems with Device Manager.
I am still looking for an answer as to why some people have "sound, video, and game controllers" showing in the device manager while others do not.

  • What is the point of putting music on this video when nearly all of the people watching this will have no sound

  • @RussianTomahawkOnlin there's really no point it. It's just there to bother people I guess o.O

  • I got another problem: After I have seen I do not have the "Sound, Video and Game Controllers" option I installed the newest Realtek HD Audio Thingy for Windows 7.

It successfully installed, but the "Sound, video and Game Controllers" option was STILL not there...

And then I have realized the Realtek Data was saved seperately in a Folder...what should I do with that?

  • @LargeFG7777 umm try restarting your computer

    any luck yet?

  • Thank you so much! I tried all the other solutions other videos on the subject gave me but none of them worked and then I tried your 3rd solution and -BAM- the sudden return of the audio made me jump (volume was really high) . I recommend everyone who has the same problem and is out of options to try the third solution.

  • @tutenkhamen5 Nah I have it worked again, but a different way:
